چکیده
Abstract Background Laparoscopic cholecystectomy has changed the surgical management of cholelithiasis and become mainstay uncomplicated gallstone disease. Adequate postoperative pain relief leading to early ambulation is imperative for patient satisfaction discharge patient. The use ultrasound in anesthetic practice ushered a new era ultrasound-guided blocks analgesia, replacing conventional methods. This study compares two modalities relief, namely oblique subcostal transversus abdominis plane block newer erector spinae patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Results Sixty between age group 18 75 ASA grades I, II, III were enrolled study. showed lower numerical rating scores up 12 h, longer time period requirement first rescue analgesic, total analgesic consumption postoperatively compared group. Both found have minimal side effects. Conclusions superior that it affords duration analgesia reduces after Trial registration Clinical Trials Registry India/CTRI/2020/10/028603/ registered on 23 October 2020 http://ctri.nic.in/Clinicaltrials/rmaindet.php?trialid=47807&EncHid=18303.55562&modid=1&compid=19

BACKGROUND To evaluate the analgesic efficacy on defined areas of the abdomen and back after ultrasound-guided subcostal transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block using 0.25% levobupivacaine 0.5 mL/kg. METHODS Twenty patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy, between 20 and 60 years of age with operative time <1 hour, received subcostal TAP block using 0.25% levobupivacaine 0.5 ...

Introduction: Proper management of postoperative pain relieves the patient’s discomfort, reduces the length of hospitalization, reduces hospital costs, and increases patient satisfaction. This study was aimed to determine the efficacy of adding magnesium sulfate to ropivacaine 0.25% in transverse abdominis plane (TAP) block under ultrasound guidance on analgesia after open appendectomy. Method...
متن کامل[Subcostal transversus abdominis plane block can improve analgesia after laparoscopic cholecystectomy].
BACKGROUND AND GOAL OF STUDY After laparoscopic cholecystectomy, patients have moderate pain in the early postoperative period. Some studies shown beneficial effects of subcostal transversus abdominis plane block on reducing this pain. Our goal was to investigate influence of subcostal transversus abdominis plane block on postoperative pain scores and opioid consumption. MATERIALS AND METHODS...
متن کاملAnalgesia and Respiratory Function after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in Patients receiving Ultrasound-Guided Bilateral Oblique Subcostal Transversus Abdominis Plane Block: A Randomized Double-Blind Study
BACKGROUND Transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block has been shown to ameliorate postoperative pain after abdominal surgery. Postoperative pain-associated respiratory compromise has been the subject of several studies. Herein, we evaluate the effect of oblique subcostal TAP (OSTAP) block on postoperative pain and respiratory functions during the first 24 postoperative hours. MATERIAL/METHODS I...
